ADOPT A HIGHWAY SPRING 2026 CLEAN UP EVENT  
     The Friends Group has adopted a portion of a highway (Route 563) near the park to keep clean in order to beautify the area around the park.  Our section of highway is Mountain View Drive (Route 563) from Deerwood Lane north to Pheasant Run Road and then south back to Deerwood Lane.

​Below is information on the Fall cleanup:

​SCHEDULED DATE :   April 11, 2026

​Time:  8:30 AM

​Where:  Meet at Park Office Parking Lot

​Dress Code:  Long pants and sleeves (poison ivy always around)

​Safety Clothes:  safety vests & glasses will be provided along with gloves, if you have your ​own, please bring them

​In order to help out you must be registered with the DCNR as a volunteer.  If you are not registered go to www.volunteers.dcnr.state.pa.us/VolunteerApplication.aspx.  If you can help out, please email me at mquinn52@verizon.net.  I will send a reminder email a few weeks before the event.

​I hope you can come out to help keep our park and Pennsylvania beautiful.
