Our Mission
The friends of Nockamixon State Park is a diverse group of volunteers whose mission is to conserve the resources within the park and to promote the recreation, education, and safe use of the park.
Volunteer Opportunities
Trail Maintenance
Help us keep the hiking and equestrian trails in top shape by joining our trail maintenance crew. You’ll get to enjoy the outdoors while making a real difference.
Enjoy a birds eye view of cavity nesting birds by joining the bluebird monitors. You will view and record your findings and have opportunities to build and install new boxes.
Butterfly Garden
Share your love of gardening by joining the butterfly garden volunteers. You will learn about native and invasive plants and work as a team to weed and plant the garden.
